Need carburated engines. What years ?

For a boat. What years did Honda stop the simple carburator & distributor, 4 & possible V6 engines.

Thank you

The carb'd Hondas were never simple. The CVCC engine was impressive technology in the 1970's, but it was good to see them retired. A real nightmare to keep it running right. The 1990s fuel injection systems are actually quite simple and relatively trouble-free.

End use justifies anything.

I will remove the carb & plug all the emission holes. Put on a non emission carb for the same CFM sized engine. Done. The boat has a trouble free fuel system.

I never trust used electronics. In anything.

Replace the electronic type of distributor with a "Hopefully" available simple point type of distributor. Done.

There is no hard surface around a boat when the electronics take a fit.
