Question Need help!

91 Civic Hatchback 1.5: Just start to cutting off on me; When I stop or when idle it just cut off. It has; New Fuel pump,fuel filter,timming belt kit, distribuitor cap and rotor,Plugs wires etc. The car it benn ruinning fine to just now when start cutting off.

Sometimes after stop, idle just fine for a moment and them cut off. On times cut off quit other times start to shake and the piston nocking like it's off timming and just want to keep up running and cut off after a moment.

I have no idea where to start looking for the problem. Can somebody help me out. Thanks

Could be an ECU problem, I know a guy had that problem with his Diesel Dodge Truck everytime he came to a complete stop, his truck died out.

Remove and clean the idle air control valve (officially called the EACV). It's on top of the intake manifold on the cylinder 1 side. First make sure that it's simply not unplugged.

Ok; The car sometimes start with no problem; and other times won't start at all. It has gas getting to it but won't start (I can hear the fuel pump and also I put some gas on the carb.). I was going to check for spark but them the car start. It feel like the ditributor cut off (Power). I sound electrical problem to me. Could this be the distributor , the main relay or else.
I will check for spark the next time won't start to see what I got.
