Need help replacing f struts on 01 LX
Well it's done. Everything went fairly well and easy. 1 1/2 hrs. Friday night to get them out. Had the springs switched at the local repair shop ($10) on Saturday morning. Another hour later and they were back in, all I had to do was put the tie rods on. Had things to do, so I finished this morning w/ a totoal of 3 hrs. of my time. It was well worth it dollar wise and learning experiance wise. Something I did learn, the manual wants you to loosen the tie rod nuts and then brake them loose. This makes for a difficult time to finish taking the nuts off because of the tie rod is now loose and free to spin. The second tie rod I romoved the nut entirely before breaking it loose. I have an appointment to have the front end aligned this week.
