i just put my engine in and when i crank it it runs but makes weird reving noise please help its a 94 honda civic 1.6L vtec

what do you mean, 'weird reving noise'? I assume the noise is happening when you give it gas? what does it sound like? Maybe video it and post it so we can hear what it sounds like. Gonna need more info for a good diagnosis.

That's really vague. Can you post a sound clip or video? Even a cell phone video is better than nothing.

You mean that the rpm is not steady like it should be at idle? The two main reasons for the idle rpm to go up and down are low coolant level and a dirty IACV.

it sounds like a wom wom wom and after a while the car will cut off i just install a timing belt could it be on incorrect
