Arrow New Fogs Thread~!

Alright well since winter is just hitting this socal city im living in fog has been a b**** lately. Christmas is coming up and i know i should be out buying gifts but i'd rather spoil my babygurl.ha
So far i got a few questions before i go ebay>purchase>recieve>"****!"
Well first things first, my front bumper looks exactly like this one (99-00 oem front bumper)

1.Will OEM 99-00 Fogs fit here?
2.Without any mods to the bumper?

Now i've been searching ebay, google, and some other websites for OEM but i don't know if there falsely advertising and jus stating there OEM grade. I know some of the Non-OEM one's are capable of getting water in them causing the bulb to fry. I just hope the one's i get are authentic and won't do that.

So..could anybody help me out with a few places i should be looking at to maybe purchase OEM fogs for a 99 2-dr civic?
thanks.

yes 99-00 civic fog lights would fit your bumper

the only mod you will need to do to your bumper is to take a dremel cut the hole for the foglights. if your bumper is oem they should have lines on the back showing where to cut.

if the fog lights are OEM they are made by raybrig, they will cost you about $120 cheapest i found on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/99-00...#ht_4842wt_732

if you want OEM quality look for the brand Depo cost you about $80

I have the no brand ebay fog lights that i got for $40 and no water build up inside, i didn't seal them up as well. i've been using them for about a years now and still working strongly.

yeah, you could always just buy some silicon seal and seal the edges up yourself if you are worried about water getting in.

if the fog lights has a clear or yellow lens they usually come with clear bulbs. for mines, my fog light lens are clear so i got some yellow bulbs so now my fog light shines yellow but not too yellow. reason i got clear ones was that i think it looks better in clear than yellow lens, much cleaner look. i owned a set of yellow foglights before this set

i really like the raybrigs fog light lens, the white clean look. Exactly what i want, are the lights yellow then for authentic oem?
also the depos fog light lens is yellow, so i'm assuming the bulb is white?

the lights in the authentic ones or pretty much any clear lens fog lights are pretty much oem yellowish white. but you can swap out the bulbs to some other H3 size bulbs.
