Default No Heat

I have a 93 Civic that I put a new rad in about 6 months ago. If I want any heat at all right now I have to put the switch on recirc and I get a little. I hardly get any heat any other way. Thermostat maybe?? Any help would be appreciated.

If your temp. gauge is low all the time, than yes, it's probably stuck in open cycle. Had that when bought the car...

Sounds like you need a new thermostat. Does the engine overheat at all?

Sounds like either your thermostat or your relay switch. So what does your temperature guage read after the car has warmed up?

I'm having the same problem with my 95 Cx. I picked up a new thermostat it's rated at 177 deg. Is this the correct temprature for this car...seems rather low to me. I always remember putting in 195 deg in the winter with other cars. The temp gauge in the car doesn't move off of cold.
Thanks

normal is 180*, so 177 is fine. is your coolant level low? how long do you drive it without it moving off of low?
