Default Accesory power outlet does not work

Hello all
My power outlet (accessory socket ) is no longer working.
The problem started when I I inserted a power inverter . I am guessing the voltage overloeaded the circuits. Either that or I may have loosened something while insrting the inverter
First I checked for anything that may have come loose. I saw nothing at all
So today I replaced the fuse which according to the manual should be fuse number 27
Still the power outlet does not work.
Any ideas ?

What year/model Civic? Was the accessory fuse blown?

If fuse 27 is fine, then use a continuity tester to determine whether you have a break in the YEL/GRN wire connecting fuse 27 with the accessory socket.

well did you just plug in that inverter thing again or test it with something else with a cig ligther plug?
cause if it blew the fuse in the fuse box it could have blown the fuse also in the inverter as well. or posibly fried it..... if you use a power inverter HARD WIRE IT TO THE CAR! have you see how small those cig lighter wires are? they are only about a few hairs thick..... not enough to power anything more than a radar detector or another small device! wire it into either the battery terminals while also FUSED next to the power wire, or if you dont want to run wires thru the firewall then hook it up to the fuse box ALSO WITH A FUSE on the power wire next to the fuse box terminal!
