Default No heater, why?

I have a 93 civic si. The problem is that I have no heater...or air at all. It doesn't work period. I checked the 7.5 fuse under the steering wheel. It's fine.

1) Where else should I check?

2) What is the "specific" name of the part you are talking about, so I can google it for images, etc.

Any specific info would be great! Thanks in advance.

There's a 30A fuse for it in the fuse box next to the battery. If it's good, locate the blower motor under the dashboard on the far right side of the car. It has a plug with 2 wires plugged into the bottom. Turn the key on and the switch on high and measure the voltage between the 2 wires (while still plugged in). If there is battery voltage there the motor is bad.

ya check the blower under the passenger side dash. check for power at those wires. one wire should have power. if one wire does have power. just hit the bottom center of the fan a few times. if it comes on then your blower is going bad...

mine just went bad in my 94 it worked fine then just stoped working after about 10mins of driving.. a hit to it and it came on and worked fine! i replaced the blower and it works great still. ruffly 60bucks at autozone but you have to pop off the old plastic inside fan part and cut the stock wire harness and crimp on the 2 wires from the blower to those wires. but i sugest not crimping the wires JUST YET to ensure you got the right wires, otherwise the blower will suck instead of blow air.LOL so test out the wires before ya crimp the wires, just hold them in the crimp conections....

but if you dont want to do any wire cutting than spend twice that and buy one from your local dealership... i think they said like 100-120bucks, then it would just unplug your blower motor wires, 3 screws holding the blower up, and then pop off the plastic fan part by pulling the retainer clip and trying to pry off the plastic part.... mine was a PITA and it was stuck really hard! i had to take a hammer and beat the inside metal rod, tho it will bust out the other side of the blower.LOL but the blower is trash anyways right. then use a punch or something smaller than the metal rod because it will need to be punched out from the plastic blower, and then it should pop off and just put it on the new blower and put the retainer clip on it and just bolt it back up and plug the wire harness plug into it. tho might want to check to see if you have a OEM blower or not.... if its been replaced by a aftermarket youll be FORCED to go aftermarket because of the wire plugs.

this is what they look like..... stock one has more like ribs and a wire plug on it.
the aftermarket one is smooth and doesnt have a plug, just 2 wires coming from it.

and this is the stock one with the harness still on it. i had to cut it off for my cheaper blower.

HOPE IT HELPS if the blower is your problem. checking for power in that wire harness should show ya if it has power or not. if no power than its another problem.....

good luck.
