not geting a spark

Default not geting a spark

I have a 91 Honda crx si that will turn over but wont crank so I checked the plugs and no spark and ever thing looked original so I did the cheep stuff and got new plugs wires cap and rotor still nothing any suggestions cause I’m lost

Does the fuel pump also fail to prime?

Any CEL codes?

Have you tested the coil and igniter unit inside the distributor?

Also take the oil cap off and watch for the rocker arms to move when you crank, if not, the timing belt is stripped. That will cause no spark because the distributor doesn't rotate.
