O2 Sensor question
Just bought a 95 civic dx with a b18b1, I'm new to this so bear with me. It's had the idle problem (1000-1500 rpms jumping in neutral) and I've cleaned the IACV and adjusted the FITV and that didn't fix it so I took a look underneath and the lower O2 sensor is burnt up and the plug is stopped off. I also didn't see any wiring for a plug either. Is this proper or do I need to wire a plug for it and replace it?
Thanks
Thanks
The OBD1 system (pre 1996) had only one O2 sensor, the one before the catalytic converter. It does not have a sensor after the cat.
Idling too fast means that too much air is getting into the engine somehow. If you take the intake pipe off there are holes in the side of the throttle body before the throttle plate. One for IACV, one for FITV (I think) and one for the preset screw. Find out which one(s) are sucking air. You should be able to stall the engine by blocking all of them, if not there is a leak somewhere else.

Aight I did what you suggested and it didn't stall. When I covered the tps hole (was pulling a lot more air than IACV) it idled down to prolly 700, guessing I need a new tps and my magical vacuum leak finder tool?
