which one is preffered??

ok well since i luckily got my stolen vehicle back, im going to take a few precautions... such as a kill switch.. should i do it via cutoff from distributor or fuel pressure??? also how much would some one charge to do this versus how hard it would be to do myself approx... thanks in advance

Are you saying he should change his firing order? Bad idea unless he wants to mess his motor up

Also A fuel cutoff switch would be easier to install. They both offer the same protection, the key part to whether they will work or not is how good you hide it in your car. Mount it underneath your seat or something or in an ash tray if you don't smoke.
