Oxygen Sensor / sub-model
I have a 2000 Honda Civic 4dr hatchback that requires a new oxygen sensor(s).
I'm trying to source from the US as they are incredibly expensive here in New Zealand but each time I email a company they ask me for my "sub-model" and I don't know where or how to find this. Can anyone help?

What is your engine type number? US submodels would be like this:
D16Y7 = LX
D16Y8 = EX
D16Y5 = HX
If it's not one of those engines it's not directly comparable to a US 2000 model.

What specific code is it? Such a code could be thrown by bad wire, blown fuse, or bad ECU, in addition to a bad O2 sensor. You need to troubleshoot if you don't want to replace potentially good parts.
