I just got the Password:JDM Magnetic Oil & Tranny Drain Plug Package. it has one plug that is longer than the other. I know that this is a really NOOB question, but which one is for which? I feel like such an *** for asking, but any help would be great.

 

the one with a square hole is for the tranny

You were joking about the square hole thing right.

 

i think he is talking about the insert part where a rachet extension would fit in a square hole to remove or tighten.
could you give a link.

 

they are both normal head bolts. Thats where I got confused. Given taht one is longer than the other where should the longest one go.

 

call password and ask. did you get the gaskets for the plugs? you are supposed to change them every oil change i believe with those plugs.

 

They use gaskets instead of o-rings???
