Please Help! Motor problem??
Im loosing coolant and overheating every 50 miles or so. Coolant is bubbling out the radiator and sprinkling a little bit out the exhaust. Its a 2004 civic EX and I believe the water pump is driven by the timing and the belt is fine. The thermostat has just been replaced and the radiators been pressure tested over the max psi and there are no leaks!
But the overflow has stayed completely full through all of this and I think it may be the overflow tank that is causing coolant to spray all over the battery and everywhere else under the hood.
There is no oil/antifreeze mix in the engine and I had the shop do one of those carbon tests yesterday to check if the head gasket is leaking but it passed.
What is wrong with this car!!? Are there different things to look for between a cracked cylinder and head gasket??
Please Help..
Thanks

If you have coolant coming out of your tailpipe and the radiator is bubbling like that I'd say you have a bad headgasket. The gasket went on mine between the coolant passage and the cylinder itself, I didn't end up with coolant in my oil or vice versa but I was losing coolant like mad. It really sounds to me like you have the same problem.
your radiator is probably clogged.
Take the bottom hose off of the radiator and put water into the top with a garden hose turned on full force. The water should go through and run out the bottom readily, if not the radiator is clogged.
