Default Please Help... Passanger Door Won't Lock/Unlock

Hi All

I've posted before, but didnt get a reply, I still have a major issue though.

I'm using my alarm remote to unlock the doors to my 2dr civic. It has central locking, but the passanger door isnt responding to the alarm remote or my key when I go to lock the drivers door.

I replaced the whole lock/actuator assembly about 10 minutes ago and nothings changed.

The biggest problem is that even when I go to leave the doors locked, they random flick to unlock and vis versa. EVEN WHEN IVE WALKED AWAY.

This is pretty serious imo, I can't be sure my car is ever locked or protected by the alarm.... !!

Any help would be apreciated, I'm freaking out a little bit now.

Update:

The key locks and unlocks the both doors now and the remote UNLOCKS both doors, but the passenger door still won't LOCK with the alarm remote.

Could be the signal isnt getting to the passenger door to lock it....

Any ideas, anyone at all?

I actually ordered and installed a new lock assembley / actuator - so I very much doubt the new one would have blown fuse.

It has alway locked and unlocked randomly, and seemed to always lock fine with the key.

But my concern is now that it doesnt lock via remote and un/locks while I've armed the car and walked off.

I just ripped the drivers door cover off. Everything seems connected correctly there.

Does this mean I'm going to need to take the whole dash out to follow the wires from end to end?

Thanks for the help so far guys n gals. Apreciate it.

Get electrical tester and measure the resistance. All the way from control unit to actuator.
