yeah, i remembered to jumper the car. So which way do I need to change the teeth? Do i need to move the belt one tooth to the left or the right (assuming the cam gear remains put)

well either way you move the belt get a white marker or what not and MARK the belt and the pulley before touching it. that way ya dont loose the spot if ya blink

Good news! the car runs great! well I did use a perminant marker... black, but I could still see it, lol. after 3 attempts its all better. I got really good at taking the belt off and sliding it back on, lol. the first time I moved it too far in the wrong direction, and so I put the belt back to where it was, then moved it the other direction, then had to move it again! anyway, it is done!!! EFFING A IM HAPPY!

I found that when you move the belt and try timing again, I needed to take the jumper out and rejumper it, or I could not see the marks at all... found that out all by my frustrating self, lol. Anyway, thank you all for your help!

Also, i will do a valve adjustment in a few days... as for now, i am going to take a break from working on my car, lol
