Power locks that work all by themselves!!

Hi all
Just purchased my first Honda. A 1999 5 door civic 1.5 VTEC. I wondered why there was an envelope at the bottom of the drivers ducket with the fuse for the power locks in it. Now I know!! I was driving to work this morning at a constant 65 -70 and the doors started locking and unlocking all by themselves for 15 minutes or so until I stopped at work. I have had a look on the forum for similar problems but couldn't find an answer. Anyone come across this before??
Many thanks in anticipation.

most likely either the switch or the lock motor is bad......

RE: Power locks that work all by themselves!!

Hey, that kind of happens with my civic (95' Ex coupe).Every time I make a turn slightly sharply or I go over a harsh enough bump, my doors unlock themselves. I think its a loose connection in my case, but I'll see when I pull the switch out. I can only lock the doors using the switch, the unlock does't work. There is an alarm on the car that is disabled, but I'll start with the switch. I thought I was the only one until now.
