Power steering removal...?

A little over a month ago I made a post about my power steering making noise, I took it back to the shop and they fixed it, but now it's making noise again (Just after the "warranty" ran out[:@]) I'm tired of dealing with the problem and just want to get rid of the power steering entirly (I've heard that it's more fun anyway)

How hard is it to remove the power steering? Do I need to buy anything to remove it or do I just unbolt the pump and take the belts off...? If somebody could walk me through it I'd really appreciate it.

I don't see where the "more fun" comes from, just makes it harder to get in and out of parking spots, but anyway, this is what you need: http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=563116

You could also remove the entire system and install the manual rack from a DX, etc. model.

Thanks a lot mxs. I didn't think it'd be so pricy, I think it would actually be chaper to just fix the problem, or replace the pump with another one...

Is it just low on fluid? That usually manifests as pump noise. Obviously if it is low on fluid, you have a leak, probably in the rack.

Don't keep driving with a noisy pump, you'll get little bits of pump into the rack that will destroy it too.

^unfortunetly I don't have any other choice... I'm gonna have to get it fixed next week. BTW, it's definatly not just low on fluid, the fluid fills with bubbles once the car turns on and it's a dark brown color.
