Power window problem - '96 EX coupe

My '96 civic EX has a problem with the power window. The window works when the door
is open but doesn't when it is closed. Is this due to a loose wiring?

I would say that there is probably a short in the wiring. Its most likely getting pinched when you close the door. Check around in there and see if anything looks torn
