PRESSURE IN COOLING SYSTEM?

I posted a while ago in this section when my civic started blowing smoke from exhaust, turned out it was burning oil. It only did it a couple of times before stopping and seemingly running ok.
But now I have noticed a build up of pressure in the radiator hose and all other connective hose's attached to the block. they are solid and hard when you squeeze them were as before they could be squeezed easily. Does anybody know what this is? is my head gasket on the way out?

RE: PRESSURE IN COOLING SYSTEM?

It could be air.......try bleeding the system.......start the car (cold) and pop the hood. Coming off the block you will see a little tiny nut with a hole in the top of it.....slowly loosen it (dont take it off).......you shoul eventually see bubbles of coolany slowly coming out of the hole......let the car run until u see a steady flow of bubble free coolant........then tighten the nut.......then there is no more air in the coolant system.

when I put in a new radiator a year ago I did all that and its been running fine until now. you still think its as simple problem to fix as that?
