got a 92 civic lx i hit a curb and went through a huge puddle of water the other day when it was down pouring, it made my engine bog down and then shut it off compleatly.the next day i tried it nothing changed the distributor nothing, for some reason im just not getting power to just the distributor i didnt suck water into it or anything all the power to the dash and the headlight are comeing on the engine turns over im just not getting any spark what so ever. im pretty much lost for words on this one i have tried everything i could think of if anyone has any idea let me know im stuck walkin if my car isnt running

 

You don't have a CAI installed?

 

yea i do have one installed and i know its easier to suck water into the engine with one but i dont know why that would stop it from sparking at the distributor im getting power to everything else im just not getting anything at the distributor
