Default Pulling the balljoints to remove steering knuckle?

I need to replace a front wheel bearing on my 2000 ex.

My haynes manual seems to make this a more complicated removal then it sounds from online when pulling the balljoints.

When pulling the 3 balljoints required to remove the steering knuckle.....is there anything I should be aware of in terms of violently damaging anything? A guy at work says he can press in the new bearing for me.

Thanks
