Question, odd noise when braking
Just a bit of background. I hit a curb about a month ago and ended up damaging my front and rear passenger rims. The mechanic I went to replaced them and did a realignment as well as replaced rear brakes.
I know my tires need to be replaced in the upcoming months as they are getting low on tread. I had front brakes replaced about 6 months ago. I am getting an odd noise when I brake to a complete stop. It's not the typical squeaking or grinding noise brakes make when they are wearing. At least not the ones I'm used to hearing. I recorded two instances of the noise to better describe what I'm referring to. It seems to be coming from the front passenger side. http://www.mediafire.com/watch/qrodz...028%5B1%5D.m4a http://www.mediafire.com/watch/6353o...029%5B1%5D.m4a Any idea on what could be causing the noise? |
