We have a 1991 standard civic. My son got hit in the right front. We replaced the hood, R fender, strut and steering knucke and saved this great running car. The car rides fine but now when he drives in the rain it water is coming in through the fire wall. He says its coming in by the steering shaft. I have not had a chance to look at it closely but was woundering if anyone my have an idea on what the problem is ??

There are several grommets you could have popped out in the wreck, even just a tad will let the water flow.
A guy in the car (the boy) and you outside with a hose.... spray th firewall up and down. Have him get compfy on his back with the seat back and reclined with a GOOD led flashlight. You;ll find it. Floor may out and carpet pulled back as far as you can.... farther the better. You want to be able to rub you fingers on the bare firewall.

Thanks Kartuneman !! Hey it seems very simple but thanks for the idea. We did just as you said and walla ! A plug was missing from the inner fender that made a direct hole the size of a quarter from the wheel well to behind the dash.
