rear bumper damage?

Hi,

I was hit from behind in my 2006 Civic four door. There are a couple of small marks in the plastic bumper.

Does anyone have experience with the metal under the bumper being bent when the plastic looks ok?

Why worry about it? Take it to a shop and have the person who hit you pay for it.
