Rear Left side creaks.
Aright guys, I've got a 95' Civic Hatch.
Anyway today when I turned into my driveway I heard a creaking/popping sound coming from the rear of my car. So I parked up, went to the back and pushed down on the rear left side and it creaked a lot.
Anyone got any idea what this is?
I'm hoping some grease or lube might sort it, but I thinking it might be the bushing?
(it's on standard springs and shocks)
Can anyone help?
Cheers.

If you can't narrow it down, the easiest thing I know of is to take it to a shock/muffler place and let them diagnose the problem (they'll do it free), then just tell them you'll have to save up the cash then go back.
Then, you just buy the goods and do the work yourself, if you can.

Something like that is hard to diagnose unless you have a buddy you can trust and get right under there to look and listen while he pushes down a bit. Even then, it's hard to see or hear anything wrong.
Did you ever find out what the creak was? My 91 creaks in the front left. It does it when I push the car down and when i turn the wheel back and forth. I suspect I just over torqued something when I changed the upper ball joints.
