Right axle seal replacement / 99 Civic LX
 

Just wrapping up my final repairs from a checklist of issues given to me from a stealership that evaluated my car. I'm looking to replace a right axle seal on my transmission. I have verified that the bottom of the transmission is covered in transmission fluid.

From looking at similar models, I need to drain the transmission, remove the right axle and replace the seal.

So my question... Anyone know of any good DIYs out there? I've never removed an axle before.

Thank you. I just wanted to make sure that the seal is located where the axle meets the tranny. If someone says that the right axle seal is leaking, that means the little O-shaped seal, aye?
