Default Rough idle 2001 Civic

My 2001 Civic EX idles rough when warm and it has stalled a few times recently in traffic. I bought the car new, it only has 32,000 miles on it and it has never been raced or modified. Does this sound like a main relay problem? Is this a common problem for Civics? Thanks in advance for your advice.

Change your spark plugs and check your timing. It'd probably also be a good idea to do a compression test.

The shop where I took the 2001 Civic scanned the car and it indicated "electrical interference" was the cause of the rough idle, but they have no idea how to fix it. The car has the factory stereo system that has no modifications.

Sounds like it could be some faulty spark plug wires. But take out your spark plugs to make sure they are gapped correctly.

EDIT: Oh yeah, check all of your grounding wires. If they are really rusty and look like crap then you might have to replace them, or one could have fallen off.
