safety belt light stays on all the time!

safety belt light stays on all the time!
2004 honda civic 4dr ex (81,000 miles), safety bell light stays on all the time, took to dealer, and they said it will be $109 + tax charge if they found the belt is not the problem. Any body has the similar problem? What I should do? Thanks a lot

I had a 2004 EX with the same light on all the time. The dealer fixed it free because Honda warrants that safety stuff for life. It was a defective switch in the "buckle" that the belt snaps into. Same year and type of car so maybe there's a TSB for defective switches.
