Slightly shaky brakes after pad / shoe swap

I have posted on here way too many times lately. My apologies for blowing this thing up.

I have a 99 Civic LX. I did a pad swap on the front and shoe swap on the back. The rotors and drums looked great so I didn't get anything resurfaced. When I lightly depress the brakes I can feel a small wobble under the brake pedal. It doesn't feel like the wheel shakes or anything, just a small pulsating feeling at he brake pedal. If I put a bit of weight in the pedal, I don't feel it as much.

I'm curious if I should be concerned about this. It was going on even before I did the brake work. Maybe I should get those drums resurfaced?

This happens when a rotor is not flat. New ones are cheap enough it isn't worth trying to resurface them.

agrees with mk. new rotors cost as much as getting them resurfaced at a shop..unless you can do it yourself.

Righteous. I'll get myself some Brembo rotors. Thanks much. Wasn't sure if it was the drums or the rotors. :)

You can tell if it's a rear brake by carefully using the hand brake while moving and feel for any vibration. It's almost always a front rotor though.
