Default slow pickup

i have a 1998 civic cx and was starting to do a timing belt change and did a stupid thing by trying to get the crank bolt loose i wedged a screwdriver in the cam gear and put a crack in it... well I stopped there so I could order the part and put everything back together. When I ran it it idles very low and the pickup is very slow... the engine still revs smooth... tonight I worked on it again and took it all apart when I cheked the marks on the cam gear and on the crank they were lined up... anyone have a clue about why my pickup suddenly dropped???

You should have not had a change in pick up as long as you do not move any thing. Do you have any air tool if so use an impact to remove the crank bolt. If you dont cut the wheel to the left take off the drver side tire after you lift the left side only you should be able to break it loose with a breaker bar.
