Default Smoke under hood

Hi, I'm having some issues as my subject line says.. When I am driving for a few hours after I park my car, I can pop the hood and theres a blue smoke comming from the rear of the engine. I know blueish smoke is oil burning but what I need help is is trying to figure out where its comming from anyone have any ideas?

well thats no good....if its coming from the back of the engine thats near the intake manifold, might be the IM gasket. What engine are you runniong?

Could be the valve cover leaking, the oil filter adpator, also the oil pressure sending unit. But if I had to guess I would check the valve cover.

yeah, look for oil on the head and valve cover there, check underneath too for leaks. Probablya seal or something. If you see some oil or what not, clean it real good and drive it for a few days, then re-check. That will give you a decent idea of where its comming from. Alittle RTV silicone might clear it up if its just a seal.
