Default Spark Plug recommendations

What spark plug does everyone recommend that's reasonably priced for a stock 01 civic LX?

oem spec like a bosch but you wont need the platinum.

Bosh is junk [sm=violent053.gif].. I go with NGK my 1st choice and Denso is also good..NGK all the way
bro.

Your car also uses the same as mine Double platinum. That's whatcomes from OEM.I did the search for your car those plugs have the model #. Yeah they are pricey but I found this guy from e-bay who has them I made him an offer 7.00 each He said yes so I bought 8 plugs to save 4 for later. He is listing them as buy it now for 8.95. If you are interested I'll give the link to his page. Hope this helps out

Sorry I just checked with that seller and he is out of those plugs.

im picking up platinum ones tomorrow from the local autozone store.
these are OEM plugs and should last longer then other ones

It depends because auto-zonedidn'teven have those plugs NGK Laser Platinum Premium. Those are the plugs he needs and the ones I also use. Those plugs meet requirements for OEM. But you can go with a lower model Like Iridium or Iridium IX. I couldn't even order them at all.

You guys all need to check your manuals before tossing in plugs. Mine (99 EX) clearly stated that I was NOT to run any platinum/iridium crap

Yeah but my car asks for the double platinums. I own a 00 SI
