speedometer
i have a 1994 civic and the speedometer does not work it is stuck at zero what do i need to replace to get it working i need it cause its a stick and im just learning how to drive one and the speedometer will let me know when to shift
Does the odometer still go, counting up miles when you drive?
Is the yellow "engine check" light on the dash on? (If not, also check that someone didn't remove the bulb. This light should come on when you turn the key to on without starting the engine).

Then you need the speedometer itself, but it isn't designed to be field-replaced. You'll probably need to buy the entire instrument cluster (spedometer, gas gauge, temperature gauge, warning lights, etc). The cluster is easy to change out.

Just to let u kno, NO EFFINCE- but the Tach lets u kno how many rpms the engine spins in accordiance to when u need to shift- not the speedo. try going to a junkyard for just the speedo gauge.
