Cool spit and spadder

95 hovda DX , car would drive fine for weeks with out a problem. then at start up or just at a stop light, spit n spd power less,till about 15 mph then run fine. . i had car servced oil air filter lubed, . i drove car on a trip over 500 miles did great no problems, went to work , on way home NONE stop spittin n spd , but could get to 60mph lol while still spitting ,oil is fine ,NOT overheating , could it be cat-covert, fuel fliter, plugs or what else thanks

I would replace all of common consumable parts first and see how it operates. If you post all of what you did and replaced, it will be better for anyone trying to help you.

I started changing plugs found 2plugs the 2 on right side motor cover in oil so they were bad . Went ahead changed wires,rotter button ( I think its called that) distributor cap runs like a dream

Good going. I would keep eye on those two plugs you found with oil. There could be other reason they were oil fouled.
I really don't know what "rotter button" is, but it must be doing something good to the engine.

He means the rotor inside the distributor. aka rotor button. a lot of my family down south call it the same thing.

I had an 89 Dx at one point which did the same thing and eventually wouldn't go 35 mph.

The exhaust had a huge chunk of carbon clogging the system.

Originally, I am not from this country, the US, and live in FL. Although FL is southern most state, I get impression that FL is not considered "south". Am I wrong? Because I 've never heard "rotor button".

If you had good running engine, you wouldn't have had that chunky carbon. You should have turned on and off ignition while running. You could have blow that thing out like fire works,,,, may be not.

yeah, it was a pos w/ over 300K on the odo. the carbon was weaved into the webbing of the cat.

and yes florida is south, but, i was referring to the cajun koon asses I was raised by. From, southern la.

sorry for the probs with "rotor button" search for, rotor or rotor button you will find that it comes up with the same thing .... FL. is soulth kinda lol but most people dont think of FL when talking about the south im from GA but live in ARK thanks all for help . im doing a big no no im putting liq. glass in car today .if it works then im sure i need a head cuz cant find leak no water in oil lets all get along pleez

well car is doing great for now. and i haven't had to put water in car, i drove the crap out of it, its not getting hot ,not spitting

What is "liq. glass"? Isn't it an auto polish stuff?
