Default Start up problem...HELP!

Ok so last night i get in my car and as i turned the key i heard a few clicks coming from the front pass side.
My power was fine cd player and everything was working. The only thing was that it wouldnt start up, we tired to push start it and still didnt work.
If the batt and starter are fine, what else could be the problem making that clicking noise? keeping the car from starting up. i drive a 96 ek, man. ?????

yea, if you can find it, sometimes you can use a screwdirver or other metal object to short it out and that will allow it to start. My grandpa and i had to do it on his F-150 for like a week till we had time to replace it. It was crazy, sometimes it would start fine, others it would just click, hed short it, id hit the key, and we were off.....just get a new solenoid and that should solve your problem

well on my mini it was a little black box with 2 contacts on the top, one from the battery, and another that went elsewhere round the car, jus put sum like a screw driver between the 2 contacts n the engine cranks
