Starters and Heating Problems:confused:
Hi
My name is Mario, from Costa Rica. My civic 96 does not start. I remember a friend of mind tight something under the car and car work well, but I do not remember what it was any suggestion of the part he tightened, if anyone have a picture or diagram to guide me, it will be awesome. On the other hand, recently the car stated heating It it happens after a long trip or when a demand to the car goes faster. Water vapor comes from the reservoir. already We checked the fan, the thermo switch the control fan it is working fine. But:eek: what is strange is the car temperature does not go high any time, just the water comes away, and I refill in with the engine working. Thanks for your valuable info |
It sounds like you have a coolant leak and the resivior is replacing the lost coolant with what it has. Coolant expands as it heats up and once it gets to operating temp the overflow goes to the tank and when it cools its goes back into the radiator but if there is a leak and the coolant gets too low it wont have anything to push into the tank. As far as the tightening up of something under the car I dont have an answer for you on that problem. The only thing I can think of would be a ground wire
