Starting issues...

So ive done a little searching but havent came across to much... So i got this car from a friend as a gift; and it had been running just fine; but would occaisionally not let him start it ( but would turn over); but if he came back 10 minutes later and tried again it would; then it just one day stopped. So i got a new battery for it and went out there and took a look at it; and all it does is turn over? any ideas? 1994 civic any help would be greatly appreciated.

RE: Starting issues...

do a throttle body service on it.

(remove your intake , buy some air intake/throttle body cleaner and use a tooth brush, spray a nice amount in, open ur throttle and get all the dirt and debree thats inside out. use up the whole can, then turn on ur car (you have to throw it revs to keep it alive until it burns up the cleaner) just be sure not to flood it.

also check all your grounds. and the voltages of the battery/and alternator

Does the feul pump turn on, turn the key to the on position and listen closely you should hear a noise of a pump, if not try again and again and if not carefully disconnect the feul line and turn the car on and see if feul squirts out.. Carefully.
