my 95 doesnt have powersteering. i dont mind it at all.. its just a little harder in slower speed senarios.. but when ure driving faster.. i it doesnt sway as much. alot more solid.. i like it. even adds alittle power.. just a little...

you can just unhook the power steering pump and lines, then you turn the wheel all the way to the right, then all the way to the left, then you put plugs in the holes where the lines went. the steering will be pretty heavy when youre going slow, but it will be fast and tight when you are moving along.

Power steering without the fluid is worse than a regular vessel designed without power steering, so br prepared.

yeah, i guess i didnt explain that. the ratio in a power steering rack is faster, so it will be very tight while going slow. even more so than a normal non-power unit. but a faster ratio also means quicker steering, so its a trade off that you have to decide if its worth it.

yeah i knew i would have to remove the line and all that bollocks and im not bothered about it bein heavier either. i just hate the way it feels so loose when go quick, makes me not trust the car. any ways looks like ill be ditching it then.

however i came up with a pretty good plan last night, would it be possible to rig up a pully of an air pump so that i can use its electric type clutch and have power steering on the flick of a button?? or am i using my brain to much lol

i dont think you could be cause the engine powers the power steering, so if the belt is on.. then the power steering is on, but if its off, then its not. unless the air pump could turn the power steerings belt, i dont think its possible
