Still overheating, bad sensor????

I have a 2000 Honda Civic, which shows on the panel as if it was overheating, however it doesnt necessarily do it every time I drive, sometimes it does , sometimes it doesn't. the weird thing is that the needle for the temperature start raising if im sitting still for more than 2 minutes and the engine is running, however, as soon as I start moving then the needle starts going down to normal levels of temperature. I had a new radiator put in about 6 months ago, new thermostat 3 month ago, timing belt and water pump replaced, also 6 to 8 months ago, new distributor, spark plugs, and the list goes on..... I've also had the cooling system flushed out and a month after the car was doing the same thing. Could it be a bad sensor??? or what else? I dont know what else to do with this car, I have taken it to 3 different mechanics and no one seems to know why it does this or how to fix it!

My guess is there is air in the cooling system which will cause the condition you described. Bleed the system. I had the same with our 90 Civic. It was fine then I found myself 300 miles from home in downtown Las Vegas in August. It started overheating. I got it to a friend of mine's place & we bleed the system which take some time to do it as Honda says & never have had another issue.

I am new to the Honda world but check your electric fan. I believe if you turn your A/C on your fan should run.
