I have power windows, and when it's cold, the driver's side one does not like to go up or down (or, like on Thanksgiving, it goes down and then not back up again ) Sometimes, if I open the door it functions perfectly, but not always, and I'm worried that at some point this will stop working altogether.

Anyone else dealt with this issue?

 

sounds like maybe your wires are getting disconnected when you close the door but when it is open, the wires have a solid connection. I'd check the wire harness that goes to your window control.
