Default Stripped a screw on a rotor, How to get out?

I have a 2004 honda civic LX. Stupid honda cars you have to take out two screws to take off the rotor. I striped one of the screws, how would i get it out?

Maybe you could try to use a screw driver and a hammer to turn the screw. If im not mistaken, the screw does not serve a purpose. It is only installed so it doesn't fall off the car and hit someone in the head during assembly. For furthur reference, there is this screwdriver you can get called an impact screwdriver. Its a regular screwdriver expcept you hit the back with a hammer and it turns when you hit it. THere was an accord a while back that this kid changed the rotors on, he used the impact driver and it came off pretty easily.

Don't forget to replace it! I did the same thing to mine and was luckily able to get it out w/ the impact driver. Had to run down to Advanced Auto and get me a new screw though.

If the red in my little diagram represents the screws your talking about, then get a drill and drill thru em. You do not need those, your LUGNUTS hold the rotors in place. You could get new ones, but theyew pointless. They're used on the assembly line, so the rotors dont fall off. Drill thru em. BAM!

Thanks everyone for youre replies. I will try to drill it off. I didnt know if they were needed, and from what everyone is saying i dont need them. I bought new screws only cost 84 cents, so no biggs.

Does anyone think the rotor will come off with out taking it out?I mean i would bang the crap out of it?
