Default thud thud thud

This thud thud thud noise has started to come from the left rear wheel. It's only noticeable at low speeds. Inspected tire, all look well. I am suspecting a wheel bearing because after a highway drive at low speeds, the thud remains but its accompanied with a grind noise. I will take a look but wanted some input first.

have you hit your breaks hard recently and locked up your breaks look for a slight flat spot, if not then the thud thud thud is your bearing,

I just raised the car. Tire looked very good all the way around. When I spun the wheel I heard the grinding on 2 different spots throughout the rotation. So wheel bearings it is? How much do you think this will cost me, as I wont have the tools needed?

Hey guys,
I just called a place down the street. He is trying to charge me 120 in labor, he said it was 1.5 hours. Is he screwing me? This doesn't include the wheel bearing assembly. I may be able to do this myself. Can someone point me in the right direction.

grab a manual and check it out, nothing in your car is hard to replace as long as your patient and read up. http://www.televar.com/soxen/92-95-helms.pdf
