You only set the base timing (at idle) and the computer will adjust the timing for different RPMs.

my timing is right, but now at idle you can rev up just fine but put it in gear and rev up and it missed really bad, put new plugs on it, wires, fuel filter, could it be the fuel pump from sitting for 8 months?

The fuel pump should not have been damaged by just sitting around for 6 months. However, if the gas in the gas tank has also been sitting around for 6 months, chances are that the gas is now stale. Try throwing some new fuel in there if its old.

tried new fuel filled it up with 93 octane, still does the same thing, at low rpms missed bad but at about 4000 starts to pick up a little better but still misses, no check engine lights or anything.
