Default top speed regulator???

i took my g/f 95 ex(auto) out for a spin today, she said she was having some trouble with it. so i'm on the interstate and i just floor it, and the damn thing won't even break 100mph. so i'm guessing the speed regulator is on or something... if that is the case, i was wondering if i could turn it off, or take it out or whatever..

It's part of the computer. You can get rid of it with a hondata piggy back unit. I think it's 119mph though... I don't know why it would stop before 100.

If it just wont get there it just doesn't have enough go to get there, if it gets there and the obviously stops climbing suddenly its the limiter.
