sorry to tell you this but its gonna be hell if you try to use that wiring harness, cause the 96-98 wiring harness in different from the 99-00 harness 96-98 is a obd2a and the 99-00 is a obd2b, we ran into that trouble a while back when we swap a 00 ex motor into 96 dx the ecu dont even plug in riteso we had to buy everything new for a 96 civic even the ecu
