Default TPS Problem

I have a 2002 Civic EX. It won't go past 40 mph even if i press gas all the way down and the engine check light is on. I retrieved the OBD code and it was P0122 (TP Sensor Circuit Low Input). Do I need to change the sensor? Can anyone tell me where the sensor is and how can it be changed/serviced?

The Throttle Position (TP) sensor is located on the throttle body. If the sensor is bad, the service manual indicates that the entire throttle body must be replaced; however, if you are handy, some members have mentioned that the sensor can be purchased separately and installed.

I can make a attempt to change the sensor. It would be really helpful if anyone can tell me where the sensor is located and how to change it, or point me to a helpful resource....Thnx!

The throttle body is connected to and draws air from the air cleaner (see below). I don't know how to replace the TP sensor, but hopefully one of our experts can help walk you through the process.
