Default TPS Sensor 2003 Honda Civic EX

Hey guys, as a 2x christmas present + birthday present i got this car. Within 3 days, it died in the middle of the highway and my dad still didn't see it fit to take it back or to cause an uproar. It's been about 3k-4k miles later at (was at 100kish now at 104ish) and I had a check engine light.

The mechanic said knock sensor - $26.70 code i think is 6YEHC

TPS Sensor - price isn't clear, but over $400 it says TH255 TPS-N

THe amount comes out to $694.47 for both of them. I seriously Don't have 700 or even 500 to my name, so is there any way that i can purchase this part and install it on my own? Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks for your time. Btw, I can't forsee myself ever having enough money for at least 2-3 months, what possible effects can occur if I don't fix right away?

The knock sensor is straight forward it you have the right size wrench or socket to fit it sense its located on the outside of the block and screws into it. The TPS on the other hand, if it has the shearoff heads like my old CRX had then your gonna have to grind the heads of then remove the sensor and the rest of the screws and then the install I do believe you have to adjust it to get the right Volts at 0% throttle and 100% throttle
