I found the ATF-Z1 fluid online for about $6/quart, so I bought 6 quarts of that. I also bought the passwordJDK magnetic plug for the tran and oil pan. I'll let you know how dirty it is when the parts come .

Update: I ordered from Hondapartsnow.com and it's already shipped. That's quick service.

Ok, I went to change the fluid today since I got all the parts delivered, and the socket was something I'd never seen before. It was a square socket that was accessible with a 3/8" drive. I tried using my 3/8 inch ratchet on it, and pulled as hard as I could, but it would not budge. I have a 1/2" air ratchet, so I borrowed my neighbors 1/2 to 3/8 adapter and gave it a shot with that. Needless to say, the adapter snapped in half before the bolt budged. Why the hell is it so tight? The manual 36 ftlb, which isn't very tight, but this thing is impossible. Anyone know how to get this off without having to buy my neighbor another adapter?

Jack the car up, and put the ratchet in the plug and put it at a slight angle from pointing straight down and towards the back side of the car a little bit, and then from the front of the car, quickly pull as hard as you can on the ratchet. Slipping a pipe over the ratchet handle for more leverage may also help.

Yeah, or soak that recalcitrant hex bolt in PB Blaster for an an hour or so and then use a breaker bar to remove it.
