Default Transmission Problems

I have a 1997 civic Si automatic transmission has no reverse so I changed solenoids now I have reverse but d light is flashing and have to shut car off than start to get drive so now i replace transmission with good used one and is still doing the same thing does anyone know if this could be a computer problem any help would be appreciated

lol id convert it to a manual transmission. less bull**** to deal with.

What transmission code is being thrown? Jump the service connector and read the code that blinks from the D4 light in the dash.
